Curriculum

A yellow sign with black text reads 'Success Ahead' on a road leading to a body of water.

Clovis Online School delivers a high-quality, well-supported education that combines curriculum that provides academic rigor, flexibility, and a strong support network to produce successful student outcomes.

Courses include text, diagrams, images, audio, direct instruction videos, assessments, and interactive simulations to facilitate the mastery of concepts. Courses are supported by certificated, highly-qualified teachers who will teach, guide and engage student learning through a variety of online tools in our course management system, meetings, email, discussion forums, phone, instant messaging and scheduled online academic help hours.

Each course includes a content outline, easy to navigate course content, State Standards, and assignment calendars (pacing guides). Target deadlines are set within each course to help students budget their time and stay on task throughout the semester. The actual time a student spends on the instructional components of each course will vary according to student’s ability, prior learning, and special needs.

All courses are aligned with California state content standards and are organized based on sound pedagogical theory and practice guided by the iNACOL (International Association for K-12 Online Learning) National Standards of Quality for Online Courses.  Many of our courses are NCAA and UC a-g approved for those who plan to attend college.
