Dear Clovis Online Families,
Welcome back Clovis Online students! I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving Break! I want to introduce myself as the new principal for Clovis Online School. This is my 10th year with Clovis Unified School District and my 8th year in administration and I look forward to serving our students, staff, and community.
As the proud principal of Clovis Online School, I am committed to student safety and our student’s success. I understand the unique needs of our students, from a parent and educator lens, and they deserve the best educational experience. I want to continue in the tremendous success that Clovis Online School has had over the years and continue to show that we are the best Online School in the state. Having a K-12 continuum of education here at Clovis Online School we can serve every member of our school age community. For our K-6 grade students we proudly provide daily synchronous learning and events to create an all-encompassing school experience for our youngest of students. This is essential as it really supports building that strong relationship with our young children with their teacher. For our 7-12th grade students, we offer honors and advanced placement classes, a full complement of UC/CSU approved courses, AP courses, National Honor Society, California Scholarship Federation, NCAA approved, and we are WASC accredited. As you know, we have in person labs for science, reteaching, math intervention as well as weekly synchronous learning to provide support. We will continue to add to these offerings as our students truly need the additional support.
Clovis Unified School District’s motto this year is, “Building Tomorrow Today” and I believe here at Clovis Online School we are exemplifying that because we look at education through a 21st century lens to provide a great educational experience. Clovis Unified School District believes in teaching children in “Mind, Body and Spirit”, and our staff at Clovis Online School works in collaboration with our stakeholders to ensure we are doing just that.
